Our contemporary take on the traditional Queenslander, the Indie 165 is a Franzmann Constructions original home design.

This Indie 165 was chosen from our suite of bespoke home designs for construction in Annandale replacing a former home affected by the 2019 Floods. Our clients were seeking a low maintenance, climate-friendly building to replace the former brick home that required demolition as part of the project.

The Indie 165 delivers streetscape presence in spades being elevated 900mm above the ground, the front verandah and wide front steps create a grand appeal on a wholly achievable scale.

A cosier edition of the Queenslander style typical of North Queensland, this design is perfect for young couples getting into the market, or downsizers looking for a more manageable-sized home. At 176m2 of floor area, this design captures all of the best features of Queenslander living with a wraparound deck and seamless indoors-outdoors living spaces.
