Constructed in 2024, Bianco Cottage 1 is a modern interpretation of the traditional “Worker’s Cottage” designed as a split-level townhouse. Delivered on a 400m2 lot in leafy, city centre-proximate suburb of West End, the home features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and 2 living spaces across two floors. A reminder that tropical living doesn’t only need to take one form.

Bay Views

Nestled in the streets of Castle Hill is our latest stunning transformation with sweeping 180 degree views of Pallarenda, Magnetic Island and Cape Bowling Green. Bay Views is the modern reincarnation of the classic 1970s red brick home found across the suburbs of everyday Australia brought forward with a fresh face into 2023. Our clients were seeking to capitalise on the panoramic views from their first floor verandah by tailoring a seamless open plan living, dining, cooking space as well as create much-needed space for their three teenagers.

A major home renovation that has revived and renewed a dated building. It now showcases understated luxury, balanced selections and unmatched vistas. With darker finishes and warm, rich timber tones, Bay Views is filled with spaces created for sharing special moments. Southside Manor

Located in the heart of South Townsville, the Southside Manor is a contemporary reimagining of the character residential homes typical of the suburb. With a welcoming front patio encompassing the entire front of the home, multiple roof gables, and cladded with James Hardie Linea board, this home is a stunning interpretation of the classic Townsville Queenslander home.

One of the key components of our client’s brief was to create a home that enabled two generations the space and comforts of two standalone houses while combining both under one roof. To this end, the ground floor is totally functional as a separate living space without being reliant on the second storey.

Strand Queenslander

A beautiful canvas to start with, our clients were needing to create more space in their Queenslander home. Choosing to undertake a major renovation to achieve their goal, this project involved a full enclosure of the ground floor level moving the entrance, kitchen and living spaces downstairs, as well as a new rear extension to allow creation of a fully integrated outdoor kitchen for a complete outdoor entertaining experience and new powder room. With a makeover to the upstairs polished timber floors and conversion of the original kitchen and dining area into the main bedroom-ensuite, this home is now an elegant coastal palace that retains its original Queenslander appeal. 

Orana House

Inspired by the brief “holiday house but we live here!”, Orana House is an homage to the traditional Queenslander blended with Spanish mission architecture features (think arches, and natural textures) and Palm Springs styling (clean, fresh, fun). Located in the up-and-coming suburb of South Townsville, this project involved the construction of a new home in a Character Residential precinct. It ties contemporary living with a traditional street-facing façade including a gabled roof, double level front verandahs, arches and refurbished casement windows restored from the original home removed from the site.

Church House

One of our biggest major home renovations to date, the Church House was a 10-month labour of love. A modern blend of Hamptons and Farmhouse styles, a massive renovation of the original character residential home that saw a complete and total resurrection into a 6 bedroom, 450m2, two storey family home. Highlights for this home include the commanding street-facing façade, 4 living areas to suit the family’s needs, and double storey front verandahs.
